Cameras cannot capture the world as we see it. Not yet anyway.
High-Dynamic Range (HDR) photography combines several photographs of the same scene.
One photograph is a normal exposure, one is brightened up considerably (to show detail in the shadows) and one is a bit darker (so we can see the details in the bright areas).
Sometimes we only need to combine 2 images to get the look we want, sometimes 3 images while other times, it's more.
The results we create can run the range from artistic and surreal, to natural.
I prefer natural.
